Puppet Workshops

Puppet Workshops are usually on marionettes and shadow puppets focusing on creating, assembling, and manipulating.   The number of participants is limited to 20.  The instructor will go to the venue of your choice.  We do not have a regular schedule.
For beginners (must be at least 10 years old):
  • Marionettes - 2 hrs, fee $20/participant
  • Shadow Puppets - 1 1/2 hr., fee $15/participant
NOTE: Fees include materials.  For groups with specific goals or length, fees vary.

  • Tentative day you want the workshop
  • Purpose of using puppets
  • Theme, if any (Thanksgiving, Halloween, or any specific topic)
  • Type of puppet preferred (marionette, shadow) (NOTE:  If you are interested in hand puppets, we will refer you to another puppeteer.)

Instructor:    has conducted workshops in the US (New Mexico, California, Alaska, Missouri) and Philippines.   She has conducted extensive puppet workshops on anti-tobacco messages, nutrition, family planning, and Philippine folktales/history.
